The revocation of the state of emergency does not mean that things can go back to where they were before March 15, as certain restriction measures remain in effect, in order to reduce the possibility of the spreading of coronavirus.
The members of the parliament also adopted the law on the validity of the decrees which were adopted by the Government of Serbia and co-signed by the president of Serbia during the state of emergency and which were confirmed by the National Assembly.
Eleven decrees which were in effect during the state of emergency have been revoked. They pertain to labor organization, some tax measures, the manner of taking out loans and participation in criminal proceedings.
Also, the competent electoral commission will adopt decisions about the continuation of electoral activities on May 11.
