Super electric bus - another idea for Mayor of Belgrade

Imagine the bus for city transportation that does not pollute the environment, the bus that is quiet and can be on the road 24 hours a day (if the drivers are switching), the bus that uses electric energy and does not need to be turned off in order for its batteries to recharged. It sounds unbelievable. However, three public city transportation lines in Shanghai in China are using these buses. The results are fascinating and promising, and the most important is the fact that, with the procurement of several components from abroad, such technology could be implemented in Belgrade-based company "Ikarbus" as well.

Imagine the streets of Belgrade with such public transportation, and then imagine, based on improving relations with China, technological cooperation and implementation of this technology in several European cities...

The idea is innovative. Instead of expensive and heavy batteries, this bus uses electric condenser for power supply, so-called super condenser. Although this condenser, as its names says, is "super", the experts say that its life can not be long, that is, it can not accumulate enough energy for the challenge in the form of a long city bus line.

However, this condenser differs from batteries in one more important aspect - its charging takes very short time. This difference served as the basis for another innovation. Namely, this bus is "recharged" at every bus stop. There is a system of conductors at every stop, by means of which the bus is being recharged while the passengers are getting on the bus.
