Procedure of selection of designer for expansion of Kragujevac stadium in progress – Cika Daca with 25,000 seats?

The popular Cika Daca stadium in Kragujevac should be reconstructed and expanded as part of the project of reconstruction and construction of stadiums in Serbia.

– In the preceding period, the tendering procedure for the project-technical documentation was opened. It has now been completed and the evaluation process is currently being carried out – Minja Obradovic, the member of the City Council in charge of investments and project management, told eKapija.

The project task encompassed the expansion of the current spectator capacities and the modernization of the stadium itself, in order for the UEFA standards for international games to be reached.

As local media report, the plan is to start with the western stand and to eventually have a capacity of 25,000 spectators. The value of the initial investments will be 10 to 12 million euros. The job should be completed by 2021.

The project is being carried out by the City of Kragujevac in cooperation with the Office for Public Investment Management.

The Office has confirmed for our portal that the public procurement procedure for the selection of the designer for the expansion of the stadium in Kragujevac is in progress.

Let us remind that new stadiums are planned in Zajecar, Loznica, Leskovac, Vranje, Kraljevo, Subotica and Novi Sad.
