21/07/2009 - deadline for vehicle registration for vehicles with E license plates

On 20/06/2009, Customs Management of Serbia stated that the deadline for representatives of foreign companies in Serbia to regulate the status of both vehicles with economic license plates and working equipment that they imported temporarily is 21/07/2009.

As it is specified in the statement, the Government of Serbia canceled the possibility of total liberation from paying import duties for temporarily imported goods for foreign representative offices in Serbia with the regulation, which has taken effect on 22/04/2009.

Customs Management stated that representative offices of foreign companies can return the temporarily imported goods then pay taxes, by paying import duties, or the goods can remain in the regime of temporary import, paying partial import duties.
