E-mail address required for registration at Business Registers Agency from October 8, 2018

Beginning with Monday, October 8, all citizens filing a registration application for the founding of a business entity or an enterprise are obligated to include an e-mail address.


– All applications for the founding of enterprises and business entities which do not include an e-mail address will be rejected by a decision of the Registrar – the Business Registers Agency says.

According to the Agency, there are currently 254,107 enterprises and 147,853 business entities registered in Serbia.

The data for the first six months of the current year show that 18,733 enterprises were founded, whereas, in the same period in 2017, 17,619 enterprises were founded, which makes for an increase by 6.32%.

From January through June 2018, 11,259 enterprises were deleted from the Register, and 10,436 were deleted in the same period last year.

The data show that around 78% of entrepreneurs filed their registration applications personally.
