for companies that operate in those markets.

want both associations to provide support to the entrepreneurs from Serbia and
Albania – said Bugarin.
As he explained, the aim of today’s Business Forum is the improvement of that
cooperation through establishment of contacts between Serbian and Albanian
entrepreneurs and exchange of information on business conditions.

significance thanks to the signed Agreement.
The President of TIK, Đok Uljdedaj, said that Serbia and Albania could start
cooperation in the domain of agricultural-food production and civil engineering.
- We are here to present the capacities of Albanian economy sector to Serbian
entrepreneurs, especially in the domains of tourism, agriculture, energy and
civil engineering – said he.
Uljdedaj said that Albanija was safe market for investments and that, in spite
of the global financial crisis, it would maintain the economic growth in 2009 and
preserve the same economic rate as in 2008, which is the proof of macroeconomic
stability in the country.
- There are still potentials for development of economic cooperation between the two countries – said he and added that the export from Albania to Serbia had been increased by 65.2% in 2008, while the import had grown by 100%.
Serbia mainly exports electric energy, food and metal goods to Albania, while Albania mainly exports steel products and bitumen to Serbia.
