Russians and Belorussians interested in "Cable Industry" in Jagodina

- Privatization Agency announced public invitation for sale of "Cable Industry" in Jagodina on Janary 31 and its tender documentation has, so far, been purchased by four companies from Russia and Belarus - President of TRade Union of the company, Dragan Rajić, confirmed.

Rajić, who is also a member of the tender committee, reminded that the deadline for purchase of documentation was March 21, and that the deadline for submission of obligatory bids for procurement was April 25. Privatization Agency announced the tender for sale of 100% of capital of "Cable Industry Holding".

Since the trade union insisted, the Agency included in the tender terms that the participant in the tender must deal with production of insulated wires or cables for at least three years and that he realized business income of minimum 65m EUR in 2007 or that he is financial investor with total business assets larger than 100m EUR in 2007.

Other terms are that the production program of "Cable Industry" must not be changed within next five years, the workers can not be dismissed within next two years, and severance pays must not be lower than 300 EUR per year of work. Also, the investments can not be smaller than 30m RSD.
