"ABS" realized export worth 23.2m USD

Power company ABS registered 66m USD worth of incomes in 2007, 35% of which, that is, 23.2m USD, was realized through export - said the CEO of that company, Zoran Radosavljević, yesterday (March 5, 2008), at the press conference.

He reminded that the projected incomes for year 2008 were 92.9m USD, 60% of which, that is, 56m USD would be realized on local market, while 38m USD would be realized from export. He also announced that ABS would take part in construction of long-distance power line Niš-Leskovac in 2008, which is worth 2m EUR, and in construction of 3.5m EUR worth of substation in Kostolac.

- ABS will revitalize hydroelectric power plant in Ovčar spa, which is the investment worth 2m EUR, and hydroelectric power plant in Bajina Bašta, which is the investment worth 1.5m EUR - said Radosavljević.

The most significant export markets of ABS are Russia, China, Cyprus and Letonia. "ABS Holding" in Serbia encompasses the following companies: ABS Minel Trafo, ABS Minel Elektrooprema i postrojenja, ABS Minel FEPO, ABS Minel Elektrogradnja Dalekovodi, ABS Minel Kontaktne mreže, ABS Minel Projekt inženjering and ABS Control systems.
