Energy rehabilitation of big Belgrade companies starts

Implementation of the project of energy rehabilitation at seven large Belgrade companies. It is expected that energy efficiency measures cut energy consumption into half, which is very important if the fact that capital is spending more than a third of electricity and gas in the country is taken into an account.

Employees at Sava Centar are the happiest for the project. The building was built 39 years ago and is a true energy waster.

Although newer building, Kombank arena is also energy inefficient. They set aside app. four and a half million dinars for monthly electricity and heating bills.

Sports centers "Tas", "Vracar " and "Pionirski grad" , "Beogradske elektrane" and " Beogradski sajam" are included in the project. All these projects , applying for EUR 11 m from EU funds , should be finished by September. Some of them will change heating system, lighting or carpentry which is more energy- efficient.
