Belgrade – Completion of reservoir on Straževica prior to end of 2005, 5,000 cubic meters, 65 million CSD

Settlements on territory of Municipality of Rakovica – Kijevo, Kneževac, Sunčani breg and Straževica – will be completely supplied with water as soon as reservoir on Straževica hill is put into operation, i.e. by the end of 2005. In the mid-’80’s, the reservoir was built on that location, but it was completely disabled during NATO bombing in 1999. The new reservoir has the same position and dimensions as the last one. Its capacity is 5,000 cubic meters.

The Directorate for Building Land and Construction set aside 65 million CSD for construction of reservoir on Straževica. The contractor is company Komgradnja.
