Intesa's purchase of Delta Holding's building under question mark?

The Commission for Protection for competition announced on Saturday ( February 20, 2016) that it initiated process of concentration investigating which emerged when Banka Intesa took over office building of Delta holding.

In the announcement, it was communicated that concentration is carried out although not registered and approved in line with the Law on competition protection.

As added, the Commission will, during the call, evaluate criteria from the Law on competition protection which defines concentration level and especially for the fact that concentration is not registered although it is a commitment of market participants.

Banca Intesa announced also. It outline that during this acquisition, the bank did everything right and in line with the laws of the Republic of Serbia, including Law on competition protection.
