Nikolic signs NATO Law

(an illustration) Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic signed the Law ratifying the Agreement between Serbia and NATO, the Office of the President confirmed to the daily Blic.

Law on the Cooperation with NATO has provoked harsh polemics in the last couple of days. The Agreement between Serbia and NATO on the cooperation in the area of logistic support guarantees the freedom of movement and diplomatic immunity to all NATO members in our country as well as all the privileges for diplomats in line with the Vienna Convention. This document also makes it possible for NATO to exchange classified intelligence and equipment with the Army of Serbia.
