Oil price in the world has been decreasing - Excise increase halts gasoline price cuts in Serbia
Almost in all the countries in the region, fuel prices have been on decrease. Slovenia has corrected prices yesterday and absolute record is Bosnia and Herzegovina where a liter of gasoline has recently been sold at 0,77 euro cents.
In Serbia, however there have been no changes although crude oil price at the world market compared to beginning to the year fell from 35,6 to USD 31,1 per barrel. The main reason for that is, as Milan Rakic from the Association of oil companies of Serbia, says increase of state intake.
New price list should not be expected before March since changes at the world market have delayed effects of 30 to 60 days. The world expects further oil price decrease, especially with the oil from Iran where sanctions have been cancelled. Experts estimate that the price could fall to USD 20 per barrel.
