World Bank approved support program for Serbia totaling USD 2,2 billion

The Board of executive managers of the World Bank approved the program of support to Serbia (CPF) for the next five years which comprises funds for Serbia of USD 2,2 billion, the bank communicated.
The program for 2015-2019 calendar year, i.e. fiscal 2016-2020, proposes loans for Serbia of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) totaling up to USD 1,6 and funding of the International Financial Corporation (IFC) totaling up to USD 600 m.
In the next five years, through these funds, the World Bank wants to support development of competitive and inclusive economy in Serbia through assigning the state to EU, it was communicated in the announcement.
The Board of executive managers of the bank greeted constant progress of Serbia in implementation of structural reforms which contribute to macro-economic suitability and creation of market trade which is competitive.
