Safe transport in world metropolis - My World Taxi service quickly became Tripadvisor in taxi world

This 26-year old girl came to the idea of developing "My World Taxi" since she also uses taxi on various jobs and private travels.
-"My World Taxi" is an informative taxi platform or as we like to call it "Taxi Advisor". As a user of our website, you have the option to open the page of the town you are travelling to and see everything you need to use taxi safely in a town, starting from the photos of registered taxi vehicles, price calculators where you can calculate how much any drive will cost, information on all registered taxi companies, their range, customers’ reviews, to advice on things you should stay away from or pay attention to as well as some local specifics such as cultural customs related to taxi usage and similar.
As Bajic outlines, the main advantage of "My World Taxi" are accurate and reliable information and therefore project development lasted for almost eight months so that the service today would be known in the same way "Tripadvisor" is in the taxi world. (Zvezdana Bajic)
Safety comes first
When creating their service, Belgrade team did not look up to "Uber", since it is a system which does not work with taxi drivers but with ordinary people with their own car and do not have taxi license.
-In order to be an Uber driver it is enough that you are 18 and a car. There is no driver’s taxi license and taxi companies which function as a kind of micromanagement at the local level. It generates room for different problems which is what Uber has been known for these days. The second very important thing with Uber is the fact that its drivers are left out of the tax system of the countries they operate in which provokes great revolt with taxi drivers who regularly pay their income taxes – Bajic says.
She adds the thing for which we can equal "My World Taxi" with "Uber" is vehicle booking which will soon be offered through application to be launched in the future where the idea is to work only with registered taxi companies and their registered drivers.
Apart from that, as Bajic outlines, My World Taxi, cannot be compared with alternative transport means such as "ride sharing", i.e. transport sharing.
-On the one hand, everyone should choose in line with its preferences. If you are an adventurer, you will most likely use "Bla Bla Car" and similar transport means. On the other hand, if you care about safety, fair price and service, turn to reliable taxi services – Bajic ads.
Synonym for taxi worldwide
Although they have not received an investment of a business angel, accelerator or funds, a collocutor of eKapija outlines their objective was first to make good product which people will use and in that sense they are open for any suggestions when it comes to an investment. Apart from that, Bajic thinks that position of young entrepreneurs in Serbia is not at enviable level.
Despite the obstacles, "My World Taxi" is planning to become a synonym for finding adequate taxi transport in the world.
-Here I mean that through our platform, you will have the option to inform, calculate price, book vehicle wherever you are as well as to evaluate every driver. The idea is that the system becomes a unique place where all registered taxi services will gather and you will no longer need to google for taxi phone numbers, ask around which taxi to call and whether it is safe since you will have everything at one place, in application on your phone wherever you are –Zvezdana Bajic said.
