President of the Government of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said yesterday that Chinese companies and Indian financiers are interested in funding production at the Mine and smelter basin Bor and expressed belief that they will agree on it in the next month or two.

At the press conference, Vucic said that the investment would imply the opening of the Cerovo pi as well as production boost at Majdanpek and Borska jama pits.

Speaking of privatization, he said that the process will end in July this year and that Serbia will then become the country of market trade.

According to his words, for a large number of companies, not only in agriculture, there are interested foreign companies for privatization.

He added that implementation of projects of 12 companies more has been in progress where 6.748 people should be hired but he did not reveal the projects details.
