LJAJIC: Money from Telekom for loan repay and investments

Minister of trade, Rasim Ljajic, said the funds generated through the sale of Telekom will be used to repay unfavorable loans and for investments start.

Ljajic said budget 2015 does not contain planned profit from sale of Zelezara, Telekom or other privatizations.

-This is the first time we placed the thing below the line such as state guarantees for public companies above the line. It has usually not been shown in the budget so that deficit would decrease. All governments did it – Ljajic said.

-We now say clearly that 81 billion of state-owned guarantees are comprised within total expenditures and deficit. But on the other hand, we did not place in the budget expected funds from Zelezara, Telekom or from privatization of 502 firms - Ljajic said.

Ljajic said Telekom is a receptacle company and that it is a leader in customers’ number but unfortunately it is not leader in total profits.
