Born on March 3rd 1965 in Belgrade;

Finished High School in the USA (Saugatuck, Michigan);

Graduated at the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica, Montenegro in 1992;

Defended master thesis titled “Financial market in the period of economic restructuring – the role of futures” in 1995;

Defended Ph.D. thesis tilted “Future markets in transition” in 2004;

Since 1992 lecturing at the Faculty of Economic in Podgorica (courses: Economics at the first year, Security Papers at the second year and Future Markets at the fourth year);

Since 1995 lecturing at the Postgraduate studies Entrepreneurial Economy;

Together with professor Veselin Vukotic founder of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development - CEED (1994); the Institute for Strategic Studies and Prognoses – ISSP (1998) and Center for Applied Research and Analysis – CARA (2002);

Participated at several specialization abroad (EMU, USA 1995, University of Sterling 1996, etc.);

Attended USIA VIP Program The Role of Privatization (1998);

One of the founders of the Group 17 (G17) established to support student protests in Serbia against Milosevic regime (end of 1996);

Managed over 10 International projects, including projects in Afghanistan and Kosovo;

Managed over 50 different projects and surveys in Montenegro;

Member of the GDN Network;

Listed as an expert on the Heritage Foundation Expert list;

Member of the Montenegrin Union of Economists;

One of the founders and Vice-President of the Montenegro Business Alliance (MBA) first private chamber of commerce in Montenegro;

Published two books, one textbook and about 75 articles in Serbian and Montenegro, and several abroad;

Participated at around twenty international Conferences in the region and abroad and presented papers at the majority of them;

Honorary citizen of the Indianapolis, Indiana, USA (award given by Mr. Goldsmith);

Speaks English;

Actively played basketball and volleyball;

Married, two kids: Luka and Sava;

Over 21 years of the experience in the private sector, including work as CEO of Economic Reform Network which consist of three mentioned organization: CEED – ISSP – CARA in the last ten years;
