Overview: Along the river Danube, near the state border, the municipality of Bela Crkva is spread out to the far south-eastern part of Vojvodina and the region of Banat. It is surrounded by slopes of the Karpati Mountain Chains to the east, Vršački breg to the north, the river Danube to the south, and the plain of Panonia to the west. On the area of 353 km2 there are 14 settlements with the town of Bela Crkva as the administrative centre.
Population: In this area there are 22,000 inhabitants, with 12,317 of them living in Bela Crkva, forming a multi-national community. The population of the municipality is comprised mainly of two nationalities- Serbs and Romanians. According to the data from 2005, the municipality counts total of 3,738 unemployed persons.
Economy: Agriculture is one of the main sources of income for majority of the inhabitants. Apart from farming, cereal and industrial crop production, Bela Crkva is famous for wine and quality fruit production. Furthermore, it is well known for extraction of gravel, which is abundant in the area. Recently, certain efforts have been made in order to develop tourism, as the foundation for the future development of the town.
Infrastructure: The municipality is conveniently located on the state border with Romania, in the Danube River basin, only 1,075 km away from the Black Sea. The Danube-Tisa-Danube Canal is also an important traffic route for the municipality as well. There is a 60-kilometer network of principal and county roads, along with a well-developed network of local roads. Belgrade, the state capital, is 100 km away, and Novi Sad, the capital of Vojvodina, is 200 km away.
Tourism: The greatest natural treasure for tourism development is a group of seven crystal-clear lakes. The total area of the lakes is 150 ha and they get their water supply from artesian wells and underground springs. Deliblatska sand pit is a unique place in Europe, due to its specific climate, flora and fauna. On the 1,500 ha of land, there are hunting grounds, a deer-breeding site and a wide range of bird species.

Site description
The site is conveniently located next to the county road R 115, and 2.5 km off the M 7/1 main road. The plot is registered as ’other undeveloped construction land’.
Service infrastructure
It is planned to reconstruct the existing access road, as well as to construct water pipeline, sewerage reticulation and power supply network.
Additional information
Lease of land for the period of 99 years is possible. The shortest possible period necessary for obtaining all the required permissions and approvals for construction on the site is 3 months. Some of the necessary planning and regulatory documentation already exists, such as Bela Crkva General Development Plan and the procedure for approval of the General Regulatory Plan is underway.

Total area: 16 ha 54 a 10 m2
Total facility area: 3 large factory workshops and several ancillary buildings;
total of 22 500 m2
Type of ownership: Property of state-owned company “25. maj”, Bela Crkva
Intended use: Industrial plant
Site description: The site is located 500 m off the county road R 115 and 1.8 km off the principal road M 7/1. The plot is registered as ’other construction land’. All the structures were built in the early 1980s, with skeleton construction. Infrastructure is operational. There is a car park area within the complex.
Service infrastructure: The site has access to energy, water and sewerage
systems, and gas pipeline is only 28 km away.
Additional information: There is a possibility of lease or occupation of the structures. The shortest possible period necessary for obtaining all the required permissions and approvals for making alternations or reconstruction of the structures is 15 days. In case of altering the use of the structure, it is required to obtain assessment of the alternation impact to the environment. It can be obtained within 30 days. All the necessary planning and regulatory documentation already exists, such as the General Development Plan of Bela Crkva.
