Jasna Matić
Ms. Matic is a competitiveness and FDI expert with more than ten years of experience in the Serbian private sector and administration, as well as in international organizations.
Before she was appointed to be the Director of Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency, in April 2004, she has worked for Booz Allen Hamilton, a USA consultancy, as a competitiveness advisor on a USAID funded project aimed at increasing competitiveness of Serbian economy.
Previously, in 2001-2002, Ms. Matic was a special advisor to former Yugoslav Deputy Prime Minister, Miroljub Labus. She negotiated the terms and coordinated implementation of several exceptionally complex projects financed by multilateral organizations that involved a number of domestic and international stakeholders.
Ms. Matic has also served in the capacity of a consultant at the World Bank in Washington DC, were she coordinated research on digital gap assessment for more than 20 countries around the world.
During the course of her career, Ms Matic has worked for five years as a steel construction designer and project manager on a variety of industrial facilities and public buildings projects.
Ms. Matic holds a Master of Business Administration from Washington University, and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Belgrade University.
In addition to Serbian, she speaks fluent English and Italian, and can use German.
