GITEX AI Belgrade, a major business and technology event, has launched the SEE 100 program. This initiative aims to select the 100 most promising technology startups from Southeast Europe to participate in the event, which is scheduled for May 25-27 of next year as part of the specialized Expo 2027 exhibition, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia announced.
The program is open to startups from Serbia, Romania, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Bulgaria and North Macedonia.
Interested parties can register starting at 12:00 PM via this link: https://innovate.expandnorthstar.com/en/challenges/see100-2027, and the deadline for submitting online applications is November 27.
Selected startups will have the opportunity to showcase their technological solutions to international investors, corporate buyers, tech companies, and institutional representatives, as well as to connect with the broader international GITEX community, the organizers stated.
A key feature of the program is the support provided by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, which will cover approximately 95% of the participation costs for the 100 selected startups from Southeast Europe.
In addition to exhibition space, participants will have the opportunity to take part in workshops with investors and startup development organizations, as well as to network with investors and corporate clients.
Over 500 business meetings are planned, while more than 700 exhibitors will participate in the GITEX AI Belgrade event.
Selected startups will also be able to apply for the Supernova Challenge, which includes a cash prize pool and a program supporting further business development.
A special Fintech category, supported by AikBank, will also be introduced as part of the SEE 100 initiative.
One of the finalists will gain the opportunity to collaborate with the bank’s technical team, meet with its senior management, and receive support for international market expansion during 2027 and 2028.
