The American software cloud company Nutanix has bought the Serbian-American startup Frame. As announced by the founder and the CEO of Frame, Nikola Bozinovic, the acquisition will be finalized by the end of August.

Nutanix was founded in 2009. Frame is one of the leaders in the field of cloud software, and its products are used by numerous world organizations to transfer desktop apps and software tools to a cloud.

As said in the official Nutanix press release, the merger will provide users with the first multi-cloud desktop-as-a-service platform.

Frame’s services will remain available after the acquisition is finalized at third-party AWS and Azure clouds, whereas the details about the availability at the Nutanix Xi Cloud and the Google Cloud Platform will be disclosed at a later date.

No other details regarding the acquisition are known so far.
