Elektrodistribucija starts construction of business space with modern transfer station in Block 32 in Novi Beograd

Elektrodistribucija Beograd started building new offices and the first transfer station in the capital after a decade and a half. The station equipment will be placed in the basement and EBD will build business space above.

The entire facility occupies 7.000 square meters and it will supply with electricity a part of Novi Beograd whose electricity demand increased for a few times due to economy development

The station which will occupy 2.000 square meters should be finished in two years. The facility will be located in Block 32 at the lot of business facilities of PTT Srbija, Telekom and the Republic Pension and the Disabled Fund.

Belgrade-based Masinoprojekt kopring and Power comm with consortium Siemens Belgrade and Kraljevo –based Elektromontaza developed the project and the contract was signed for procurement of equipment, electrical and assembling works and putting the station under voltage.

A garage for 50 vehicles was also planned. Apart from that, it was planned to build access roads as well as roads for communal and fire protection vehicles and assembling and maintenance vehicles in the transfer stations and the area will be developed and planted with greenery.
