Law on planning and construction before the Government after August 25

Public discussion about the Draft of the Law on planning and construction ended but objections and comments can be still delivered until August 25 to the Ministry of construction, traffic and infrastructure of Serbia, the ministry has announced today.

After that date is expected that Draft of the law is sent to the Government of Serbia and then to the Assembly of Serbia, it was told to the Beta agency at the ministry.

The future law on planning and construction will simplify procedures so that construction permits will be issued in 28 days, it will introduce a one-stop system and cancel construction land fee.

The law should be fully effective by mid 2015 when the implementation of the electronic system for construction permits issuance should start.
