BK Group draws designs for Tesla City business and residential complex in Belgrade - Did the Karics copy designs of the French company?

BK Group announced that it designed a project for the construction of business-residential complex, Tesla City in Belgrade which would occupy some two million square meters where some 43.000 people would be engaged in the construction and some 18.000 employed after the project finishes. The International financial center which would generate at least EUR 20 billion per year to the budget of Serbia would be built in the middle, Tanjug reports.

Although the announcement of BK group does not mention the exact location where in Belgrade a multifunctional complex, Tesla City, would be built, the company said that the complex, together with the International financial center, could be compared to the largest world projects such as Makao in China, Florence in Las Vegas, Dubai International Financial Center in Dubai and Moscow City in Moscow.

Apart from Belgrade on water, it would be another huge investment in Serbia which would present unique concentration of business premises, hotels, retail shops and event organization space, distributed in a form of a cylinder, with a diameter of 500 meters, with buildings on the edges which would in a shape of crystal form huge diadem visible from any part of Belgrade, it was said in the announcement that Tanjug published.

The investment-construction mega project Tesla City will provide engagement of not only Serbian construction companies and construction material but also regional companies which will significantly boost Serbian economy, modernize plants for production of material and significantly decrease the unemployment rate, BK company announces.

BK announced that, in order to implement the strategically important project, it will call for joining consortium to all construction companies and association from Southeast Europe and it expect full support from the Serbian government and favorable loans for Serbian firms which would participate in the project implementation.

Tesla City or Diadem

As Belgrade media report, preliminary design for Tesla City, which BK group presented as its own, was literary copied Diadem of the French company Valode&Pistre, which is a part of the Minsk World project, presented in Belarus in November last year.
