Up-to-date European casino to be opened in Belgrade in July 2007

The General Manager of company "Casinos Austria Internacional", Paol Herzfeld, announced that that company, in cooperation with Greek company "Club hotel Lutraki" and the State Lottery of Serbia, would open the first casino in Belgrade, in July 2007, in renovated hotel "Jugoslavija".

The value of total investments for one of the most luxurious and most modern casinos in Europe is 60m EUR. The majority ownership of 51% will belong to "Casinos Austria", while "Lutraki" will have 39% and the Lottery of Serbia will own 10%. The Manager of the Lottery of Serbia, Bojan Krišto, said that the casino should contribute to the improvement of the tourist offer of Belgrade, that it would occupy surface of 5,500 square meters and that it would employ 300 people.

The casino will have tables for roulet, poker and similar games and 250 machines. The entire two-level entertaining center will be opene in autumn and it will encompass exclusive restaurants, cocktail bars, multipurpose hall and VIP room.
