Third attempt lycky one for building of Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs - attractive location in Belgrade's center sold to company "Sorovia invest" for more than 35m EUR
The Manager of the REpublic Directorate for Property, Milan Tomić, signed yesterday (FEbruary 20, 2007) the decision on sale of complex of the FEderal Ministry of Internal Affairs in 90-92 Kneza Miloša Street in Belgrade to company "Sorovia invest" for 35,050,000 EUR.
Thus, after two unsuccessful attempts, that is, cancelled tenders, the bombed complex of Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs has finally got new owner. These days the winner will be invited to sign the contract.
Two bidders took part in the third tender: "Soravia invest", as a "daughter" company of Austrian "Soravia group", and Swiss "Private project management". Both offers, as the Directorate explains, were complete, including banking guarantees, so that the offered price decided the winner.
PPM offered the price of 34.5m EUR, which is about 0.5m EUR less than the offer of "Soravia".
The parcel in 90 Kneza Miloša Street occupies surface of 13.09 are, while the one in 92 Kneza Miloša Street has 78.6 are. The complex consists of several business and yard buildings whose total surface is about 22,600 square meters.
The new owner has already announced that at least 100m EUR will be invested on this location in the construction of the hotel with 400 rooms, fitness center, conference halls and office space. That will be a hotel with four or five stars.
