Apartment sales in Montenegro again on rise - Budva still most expensive, square meter sells at up to EUR 2,420

Apartment sales at the Montenegrin seaside are again on a rise with the most active buyers being Russians and Serbs.

Apartment sales in Q3 2013 grew 30 percent from the same period in 2012. Similar results were achieved in the first months of this year as well, MONSTAT's data show.

Flats in new buildings are in the highest demand, especially those in Budva, where housing space is priced the highest, the media in Montenegro report.

Apartment prices depend on the city and location. The price of the most expensive housing space in Budva last year hit a record high of EUR 2,420 per square meter.

The price of apartments in new buildings averages EUR 1,110 per square meter in Podgorica, EUR 931 in Bar, and EUR 588 in Niksic.
