Austrian postal company invests EUR 5 million in distribution center in Belgrade
Christoph Leitl, the chairman of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, has announced that the Postal Company of Austria is going to invest EUR 5 million in the construction of City Express distribution center in Belgrade.
During his recent visit to Belgrade, Christoph Leitl said that it was yet another investment in the leading courier company in Serbia - City Express, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce said in a release on its website www.pks.rs.
The new logistics center will be situated in the vicinity of Nikola Tesla Airport. Works are expected to be completed in early 2015.
The Postal Company of Austria bought City Express, the largest private door-to-door courier service in Serbia, in 2007. This company was established in 2002 and currently employs about 500 people, has 340 vehicles and 16 distribution centers in the territory of Serbia, and delivers over 4 million packages a year.
