"Hellenic petrol" starts construction of business centre worth 9m EUR on Belgrade-Niš highway
- Greek national oil company "Hellenic petrol" starts construction of 9m EUR worth of business centre on Belgrade - Niš highway, near Ćuprija, which should provide jobs for 120-150 workers of various occupations - the Mayor of Municipality of Ćuprija, Ljubomir Marić, confirmed yesterday.
The contract on realization of that project has been signed by the manager of company "Hellenic petrol", Antonios Zaferis, and the Mayor of Ćuprija Ljubomir Marić. It has been agreed that the works start immediately and that they should be completed in about 100 days.
Minister of Capital Investments Velimir Ilić gave consent for construction of the business centre, which will occupy 4 ha on both sides of the higway near bridge across the Velika Morava, back in January 2005.
"Hellenic petrol" business center is intended for passengers and transit tourists and it will have two gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and internet bars, bungalows, sports courts, playground for children, car repair services, car wash.
