Beočin soon to get big business park on surface of 450 ha

The Mayor of Beočin, Zoran Tešić, announced realization of the largest investment in the history of this town - construction of the business park on surface of 440 ha and the international port on the Danube - in Spring 2007.

- It is one of the largest business parks in Europe and the project for construction of that part and a big international port on the Danube is realized by Town Hall Beočin in cooperation with strategic partner of French company "Lafarge", the owner of Cement Factory Beočin – said Tešić.

He added that the Municipality had already reduced communal taxes by 91% for those who intended to start business in Beočin. Communal benefits, according to Tošić, can not be applied to the old owners, but only to the businessmen who intend to invest and found companies in the business park.
