2014 to see commencement of construction of complex with 7 hotels, 200 villas, golf courts and big marina –How does Croatian EUR 920 million dream look like?
Croatia will start the construction of the tourist project Hrvatski San (Croatian Dream) in the Tri Sestrice cove in Dubrovacko Primorje, dnevnik.hr reports.
As it was reported, construction of seven hotels, more than 200 villas and suites and a large marine with 400 berths is in the pipeline. Three contracts have already been signed with investors and the project totals almost seven billion kunas (some EUR 920 mil).
A golf court, luxury villas and hotels will be built in the Dubrovacko Primorje municipality. The marina will have 400 berths and seven hotels will surround it. It is the most expensive project in the recent Croatian history. Malaysian billionaire, Vincent Tana, is one of the investors.
- Apart from him, we have already made agreements with four international investors we have been negotiating with for several years – said Project Manager Vicenco Blagajic.
- There will be seven hotels, 500 suites, 200 villas and a 27-hole golf court. It is a true tourist city. One investment like that can increase domestic product, which makes it extremely important – Dubrovacko Primorje Mayor Nikola Knezic noted.
Citizens hope there will be vacancies for all the unemployed in Dubrovacko Primorje and wider.
And while the start of the construction of this big tourist complex is announced for next year, preparation works have already commenced. Road works and terrain preparation for essential infrastructure have already started.
The complex will host its first guests in Sestrice in the summer 2016.
