Municipality of Lajkovac to become "heaven" for investors – local industrial zone ready for good projects

The Mayor of Municipality of Lajkovac, Vladan Čvorović, invited all interested investors to visit that town as soon as possible and to join the project for construction of Industrial zone Lajkovac, which occupies about 100 ha and has excellent transport and all other infrastructural conditions.

Speaking about details of that offer, Čvorović pointed out at today's (November 30, 2006) presentation of the potentials of the aforementioned industrial zone, which was held at the Entrepreneurial Fair "Business Base" in Belgrade, that 70% of that zone had not been built and that the land was in the hands of the private persons, which much simplifies its procurement.

- Our industrial zone, as well as the Municipality itself, has excellent geographic position. We are settled in the vicinity of Belgrade, whereas Belgrade-South Adriatics highway is only 3 km away from us. Besides, our local self-government is absolutely ready for every investor and it is ready to oblige maximally – Čvorović explained.

As it was said at today's presentation, the price of the land in Industrial zone Lajkovac ranges between 100 and 300 EUR per are, while the detailed land-utilization plan for the entire zone already exists. As far as compensations for organization of building land are concerned, they vary depending on the investment project, that is, the number of workers that future production unit will employ.

- The investor who employs more workers will pay smaller fee, which usually ranges between 50% and 90% of the real price – the Mayor of Municipality of Lajkovac pointed out.
