Srba Ilic to give up new investments and sell all Srbijaturist hotels except for Grand

Srba Ilic, a U.S. businessman of Serbian descent, announced yesterday it would give up new investments in Nis and sell all Srbijaturist hotels except for Grand.

Ilic, who was born in Nis, said that he had decided to abandon new investment because he got tired of proving he was not a criminal, but a businessman.

- I was enthusiastic about new investments, but not any more. The reason lies in criminal charges that certain trade union workers of Srbijaturist press against me and my employees. There are hundreds and maybe even thousands of these charges - said Ilic.
