Herceg Novi ready for luxury resort - Construction of One&Only complex commenced in Kumbor

The employees of Azmont Investments and the Alec Montenegro construction company ceremoniously marked the commencement of works on the construction site for the future One&Only resort in Kumbor on Tuesday, it was announced on the web portal montenegro.travel.

Aleksandar Mijajlovic, a representative of Alec Montenegro, said that they were very proud of having a chance to work with one of the most respectable construction companies in the world - Alec Dubai (Al Jaber LEGT Engineering & Contracting) - on this large tourist project.

Director of the Kumbor-based project James Wilson noted that the work was going on schedule, adding that it was mainly owing to the huge efforts of the Herceg Novi municipality and the Montenegrin government that was faster at development planning and construction permitting than many other countries, montenegro.travel reports.

- I am happy to say that 500 people will get a job over the next few months. Also, we have received a cooperation proposal from about 450 companies as well as 2,500 job applications - said Wilson.

He added that all proceeds from the sale of old materials from former military facilities would be given to charity.

As eKapija reported earlier, Kumbor will get a luxury resort, hotel, suites with a spa center, and tennis courts.
