Johnson Electric and Lidl get lots in Nis

On Friday, (August 2, 2013) the City Assembly of Nis supported elaborate which leases land to Hong Kong-based Johnson Electric for the construction of the plant, the city site published.

Johnson Electric will build a plant near the Nis-based airport on an area occupying 3,89 hectares while the construction will start in late August of early September.

The company has previously announced it would invest EUR 15 mil, build 10.000 square meters of production area and hire 1.000 workers.

At the meeting held on Friday, the members of the City Assembly of Nis adopted decision that the land of the former barracks Apelovac which the Army of Serbia let to the city, should be given to trading company Lidl for the construction of the supermarket, Blic reports.
