Committee adopts proposal of the Law on State Survey and Cadastre

The Committee for Constitutional Affairs and Legislation of the Serbian Parliament has adopted today proposal of the law on amendments to the Law on State Survey and Cadastre, which was submitted by the Government.

The reason for the adoption of this law, according to the explanation of the sponsor, is the need to rectify weaknesses which have been observed so far in the implementation of the existing Law on State Survey and Cadastre.

Amendments refer to adequate regulation of the status of employees with geodesy degre in the Republic Geodetic Bureau, specifying provisions on geodesy work implementation, work of geodetic organization geodetic licenses, as well as the elimination of the collision of certain statutory provisions.

The change of certain provisions which govern the process of maintaining the real estate cadastre and mass estimation of real estate has been proposed, as well as prescribing inspection monitoring of cartographic publications.
