Investment : Regional depot with recycling centre “Vrbak”

Regional depot with recycling centre is under construction. It is constructed under partnership of several municipalities: Rača, Lapovo, Batočina, Velika Plana, Despotovac and company “A.S.A.” from Czech Republic.

With this project six municipalities of Pomoravski and Resava region will solve very important issue of collecting and recycling of waste materials. The ground plan of the recycling centre was made, which will be on the territory of the Municipality of Lapovo. All geological researches were done on this location.

It is a typical depot in which paper, glass, plastic and metal will be separated and recycled. Considering the quantity of the waste materials that will be recycles, this centre will solve very important question in the following 50 years. By selling of recycled material, the depot will partly finance itself.

In the first phase six municipalities formed the company “Vrbak” Ltd. With its seat in Lapovo. The goal is to form mixed company between municipalities , and with the investment of foreign capital in retio 51% to 49%. Communal companies of these municipalities will be practically units with all present obligations. The modernization of the equipment and the better protection of workers is also planned.

This depot will meet all European and Serbian standards considering the protection of the environment.
