Greece sells building in Belgrade for EUR 2.075 million
Greece has sold its diplomatic building at 6 Kralja Milutina Street in the capital city of Serbia, people at the Embassy of Greece to Belgrade confirmed to Tanjug news agency.
The building in Belgrade, which was priced at EUR 2.075 million, is one of the four facilities in the possession of the Greek government that the State Property Privatization Fund has sold lately for a total of EUR 41.1 million.
According to the information submitted to Tanjug, the Fund has also sold the residence of the Greek consul in London - Townhouse, for GBP 23 million (EUR 27.4 million), the state office of Greece in Brussels for EUR 3.24 million, and a property in Nicosia for EUR 8.3 million.
In 15 days Greece plans to put consular facilities in Tashkent and Slovenia's capital city Ljubljana up for sale.
Privatization of these state-owned facilities is one of the conditions under which Greece received an international financial aid.
