Symbol of Croatia's tourism sold - Lucidus becomes majority owner of Zlatni Rat

Lucidus, a real estate mediator, has acquired 543,402 shares in Zlatni Rat (Golden Cape).

This investment will secure this Croatian company 74.9 percent of the total number of votes attached to shares in the target company, it was announced on the Zagreb Stock Exchange and cited by the web portal Poslovni.hr.

People at Lucidus have announced that the company will make a takeover bid for the remaining shares in the target company pursuant to law and within stipulated deadlines.

Zlatni Rat is one of the most famous beaches on the Adriatic coast, situated on the southern coast of Brac Island. This symbol of the Croatian tourism is famous for its long white pebble beach, which changes the shape and position depending on the wind.

Lucidus specializes in real estate mediation. As people at that company said, its offer currently includes 2,000 apartments and suites, 1,500 houses and 500 parcels in Croatia and Slovenia.
