Lagermax AED logistics center opens new facility in Simanovci

(Director Aleksandra Potkonjak with her staff)

A ceremony marking the opening of a new storage space spanning 3,680 square meters and a 3,083 sqm space for handling and dispatching goods has been held in the newly built part of the logistics center Lagermax AED in Simanovci, in the presence of the representatives of the Embassy of Austria, Austria's Lagermax Group, local self-government and business partners.

On that occasion, Chairman of the Lagermax Group Managing Board Alexander Freisz handed over a RSD 250,000 donation for the procurement of incubators under the "Battle for Babies" campaign.

As Aleksandra Potkonjak told eKapija earlier, the new facility consists of a set of functionally connected units serving the primary purpose of receiving, storing and distributing goods.

Lagermax AED is one of the leading providers of international transportation, logistics and distribution services in Serbia. It operates as part of the Lagermax Group, which was founded in Salzburg in 1920. They are present in Serbia since 2006. In late April 2012, construction of a regional logistics center in Simanovci entered its second phase.
