Israel's Big CEE Srbija opens shopping center in Novi Sad
A shopping center of the Israeli company Big CEE Srbija, worth about EUR 50 million, was today ceremoniously opened in Novi Sad in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Aleksandar Vucic, Israeli Ambassador to Belgrade Joseph Levy and numerous citizens.
Reminding that Israel was one of the biggest investors in Serbia, Vucic stressed that the new shopping center was a proof that Serbia could attract much more investments from Israel and other countries if it continued to make progress and change the investment environment, adding that he expected that to happen in the following period.
Vucic said he expected Israel to invest more money in the future and introduce its technologies, as well as to be present in all parts of our country through investments in agriculture and other industries.
Novi Sad Mayor Milos Vucevic and Eitan Barzeu, director and owner of the company Big CEE Srbija, ceremoniously released balloons to mark the opening of the new shopping center, which spans a total of 40,000 square meters and is going to employ about 500 workers.
