Jagodina opens luxurious Hill - More than 3 million EUR invested in hotel with a congress hall, spa and fitness center

The tourist-sports center in Jagodina, near the aqua park, the Museum of wax figures, ZOO and Potok picnic place, the Hill hotel of the high category with additional facilities has been in the presence of the city heads. It will open its doors to the first guests tomorrow.

The hotel has 20 rooms and four suites, a restaurant hall with 160 seats, a restaurant terrace with 100 seats, congress hall with 60 seats, a parking for guests, spa and fitness center consisting of a gym, a fitness hall, a hydromasage bathing tub, tepidarium, tropical rain shower, two saunas, warm benches, massage and a fito bar.

The Put company constructed the hotel and the equipping totaled 3 million euros. The hotel employs 53 people from the Jagodina area.

The construction manager, an engineer of Put, Branko Paradjanin said for Tanjug that the hotel “was built and equipped in line with the highest standards and with the high category it satisfies”.

- It is equipped with most famous local and world producers and the unique interior has been designed separately for each whole – Paradjanin said.

Zemun-based designing buerau, Design N2 developed the hotel project. Design N2 and Belgrade-based AL-punto Natura Design was in charge of water decorations and fountains in the hotel.

Paradjanin mentioned that the hotel is undergoing the categorization phase and that it fulfills all terms of four star hotels. He also added that the overall process of procurement, warehousing, production and servicing, as well as the hotel management, is in line with HACCP system and ISO 9001 and 18001 standards.

The hotel occupies gross construction area of 3.600 square meters and guests can enjoy room service, mini bar, direct phone line in rooms, wireless internet in the whole facility, LCD TVs, personal safety deposit boxes, lobby bar…

- The core activity of Put is civil engineering and construction. It has quarry but it entered the catering-tourist activity to develop tourist offer in Jagodina – Pardjanin explained.

- Put had its interest and it owns a hectare of construction land in the Jagodina tourist zone, The Hill hotel construction is just the first phase of the tourist offer development – Paradjanin explained and added that Put was planning to expand catering-tourist offer.

Some 700.000 tourists visited Jagodina last year. Due to lack of accommodation capacities, there is a loss of 7.000 nights, as city tourist staff say.
