Construction of new 16,000 m2 of GFA between Knez Milosa Street and Clinical Center planned

Between Kneza Milosa Street, Visegradska Street and the University Clinical Center of Serbia complex, close to 16,000 m2 of gross floor area could be built, according to the Study for Early Public Review for the purposes of developing the DRP, which was announced by the Secretariat for Urban Planning and Construction.

Namely, in this area, along Durmitorska Street, the transformation of residential areas and commercial facilities into mixed city centers is planned.

The approximate area covered by the plan is 0.65 ha.

Currently, a total of 7,050 m² of gross floor area (GFA) has been built on the plot, of which 5,184 m² is for housing and 1,866 m² is for commercial facilities. However, according to the planning documentation, the construction of mixed city centers with a total GFA of 22,763 m² is planned. Which means that the construction of 15,713 m2 of GFA is planned in this area.

At the same time, the estimated number of inhabitants will increase from the current 140 to 553.

The client for the plan is a natural person, and the Study was prepared by the Belgrade Urban Planning Center.
