Seaside resort to be auctioned – Kikinda to sell property in Montenegro because it has no money for building reconstruction
At a session of the local parliament of the City of Kikinda, after a discussion that lasted several hours, by a majority vote, the decision was made to alienate the immovable property in the cadastral municipality of Prcanj from the public ownership of the City of Kikinda. The total area of the parcel in Prcanj is 519 m2, whereas next to it are third-class meadows of over 2,000 m2.
The explanation says that the City of Kikinda has no funds for the big investments that the facility requires, that it has been out of function for a long time and that there is no possibility of its use as a resort.
The discussion about that item was concluded by the mayor, Mladen Bogdan:
– The facility in Prcanj is dilapidated because it has been neglected. Greenery of limited purpose is located on the cadastral parcel, which means that nothing can be built on it. The money obtained from the sale of the former resort will be used for investments in the territory of the City of Kikinda or the maintenance of the facilities which, above all, serve our children – said the mayor.
The estimate of the market value was done by the company Spika Inzenjering from Kikinda and it amounts to EUR 753,000, which will also be the starting price when an invitation for bids is published.
