DULIC: Subsidized housing loans in 2012 as well

Minister of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic said Tuesday that there would be subsidized housing loans in 2012 and that sufficient funds had been provided for that purpose.

If needed, additional funds will be earmarked in the next budget revision, Dulic said to the press after visiting a sample apartment in the newly built housing project in the location of the former barracks Vojvoda Stepa Stepanovic in Vozdovac, Belgrade.

The minister also announced that the list of families elegible for subsidized housing loans would be expanded.

Dulic said that "as many people as possible will be enabled to buy an apartment at this difficult time," adding that "that is exactly what the construction industry needs."
