American Investment Consortium to finish construction of complex at Zavala cape in Budva

A U.S. consortium has announced that it will finish the construction of a hotel-tourist complex at Zavala cape near Budva, the works on which were earlier abandoned by Moscow-based Mirax Group.

Podgorica's Pobjeda daily writes in its today's issue that the complex at Zavala cape will be built by American Investment Consortium in agreement with Hypo Alpe Adria Bank, of which earlier loans were used to buy the land at that cape.

The three-year construction of luxury villas and other tourist facilities at Zavala cape was discontinued in autumn 2010.

Belgrade-based Monterra was also earlier mentioned as a possible investor in the completion of the construction of that tourist complex. Dragan Kopcalic, director of that company, did not want to give any comment on that.
