Registration in Cadaster of Real Estate in Digital Form Exclusively from Now On
With the amendments to the Law on the Registration Procedure with the Cadaster of Real Estate and Utilities, from November 4, 2023, the citizens of Serbia are able to make a cadaster registration in a digital form exclusively, with expert support of professional users – lawyers and geodetic organizations, the Republic Geodetic Authority (RGA) announced.
– This way, the RGA secures efficient registration in the cadaster, with the checking of the validity of documents by professional users. All the requests that were submitted at the counters of cadaster services until now will be submitted through professional users exclusively – the RGA says in the announcement.
It is added that the main advantage for the citizens is the saving of time and energy and the solving of all the uncertainties regarding the process of registration and the realization of own rights, thanks to the expert advice of professional users.
– With this manner of registration in the cadaster, the citizens and their selected professional users will be able to access the case from any location, with no temporal or geographic limitations. Instead of the traditional 170 counters, the citizens have as many as 4,000 digital “counters” available to them 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day – the RGA says.
They also point out that the new way prevents the forging of old documents, because they are now transferred into a digital format, and their validity is checked by professional users.
– A digital registration in the cadaster is the only way to prevent manipulation and intervention on the documents and to put a stop to endless paperwork going in an out of the RGA. With the new manner of registration, the cadaster has made its digital world complete, and with its form and content, it is now a digital reality which facilitates and improves the lives of the citizens of Serbia – the announcement says.
The RGA will answer all the questions and uncertainties that citizens communicate by calling the Info Center at +381 700 500 500 (0700/500-500) or by sending an email at info.centar@rgz.gov.rs. The lists of the lawyers and the geodetic organizations are available to the citizens on the RGA website, by calling the Info Center, or on the bulleting boards at the entrances to the cadaster services.
