Green oasis of peace and privacy in Novi Sad city center - Construction of Podbara residential and business complex

Construction of Podbara residential and business complex has recently commenced in Novi Sad. It is the biggest investment and the largest building site in Serbian Athens.

A lot spanning about 16,000 square meters will host a multifunctional complex with 130 apartments of various structure in four individual buildings in streets Marka Miljanova, Djordje Rajkovica, and Kosovska.

The complex will also comprise about 3,000 square meters of representative office space, mainly larger in size, which is particularly suitable for big trade or business premises, bank offices, and other service businesses.

One of the greatest qualities of this complex is its location - it is situated only 120 meters away from the pedestrian zone in Novi Sad, 150 meters away from the Danube, and very close to the city entrance from the highway.

Since Novi Sad has a big problem with a lack of parking space, the same as all other major cities in Serbia, Podbara complex offers a solution to that problem in the form of the largest and state-of-the-arts underground garage in Novi Sad for about 120 automobiles.

Construction of the complex represents a special undertaking since it is being built in the area where the level of subterranean waters is extremely high.

Up-to-date materials and equipment will be used in the construction of the complex, as well as some new systems of execution of works. An underground garage will be situated in the cellar, part of the ground floor and mezzanine floor space will be occupied by offices, while residential space will be on upper floors.

The yard within the complex will span nearly 1,500 square meters because, practically, the area above the underground garage will be organized as a green square with a playground for children and it will represent a pleasant oasis of greenery, peace and privacy in the city center of Novi Sad.

The author of the preliminary design is architect Djordje Bajilo, while the complete project technical documentation has been prepared by DBA studio from Novi Sad, which is also entrusted with the technical supervision of the execution of works.

The investor and contractor is the company Buducnost AD Novi Sad, which has been a synonym for a reliable and quality investor and constructor over the past few decades.

With its numerous and trustworthy collaborators, Buducnost will finish the construction of this complex until July 2012.
