This is What Almaski Kraj Will Look Like After Reconstruction – “Novi Sad Will Regain Its Soul” (PHOTO)
The president of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirovic, has published on his Instagram profile the sketches which show what Almaski Kraj will look like after the reconstruction.
– In the spring, in cooperation between the Provincial Government and the City of Novi Sad, one of the most important projects in the history of Novi Sad will begin, the full reconstruction and revitalization of Almaski Kraj. I am exclusively publishing the sketches from the project which envisages the reconstruction of 600 houses, with a whole new infrastructure in around twenty streets in the block between Kosovska, Almaska, Pasiceva and Temerinska streets. Novi Sad will regain its soul – wrote Mitrovic.
Let us remind that the project is split into two phases. The first phase spreads on the southeast part of the spatial cultural-historical whole and encompasses Zlatne Grede, Skerliceva and Milovana Vidakovica streets and parts of Save Vukovica, Djordja Jovanovica and Nikole Pasica streets, as well as the square at Zlatne Grede and Skerliceva streets.

The beginning of the works within the 1st phase is planned for the end of 2022, whereas the majority of the works will be carried out throughout 2023.
